This is exactly how the Default aim assists setting functions and has been around since the early Call Of Duty games, thus this option will most likely appear to be the most familiar among all the aim assist types. When players think of the functionality of aim assist, they think of the typical built-in feature that slows down a player's crosshairs when they pass onto an enemy. There are currently four different types of aim assist settings in Modern Warfare 2, each of which provides a different functionality to the game's aim assist system.
